DNA Rate

In January 126 appointments were wasted by patients failing to attend.

Each missed appointment costs the NHS £24.50, so this amounts to £3,000+ gone to waste in just one month, by just one GP practice!

If you are unable to keep your appointment please can you notify the surgery as soon as possible. If we hold your correct mobile number, you can even cancel your appointment via text message.

In January we sent 2726 appointment reminders via text, and took a total of 83 text cancellations. We would like to thank everyone who cancelled an appointment which they no longer required.

Staff Changes

We are delighted to welcome our new receptionist Sam to the team.

We currently have Medical Students working with us.

Medical students may be required to sit in during consultations. If you do not feel comfortable with this, please inform a member of staff when you book your appointment or as soon as possible on arrival.

For more information on the other type of students we have, please Click Here
Read our Meeting Medical Students leaflet for more information

Are your contact details correct?

Please inform us of any changes to your contact details as soon as possible. If we do not hold your correct contact information (address, telephone number and email address) we will not be able to contact you regarding results, referrals and review appointments. We can even send you text reminders for your existing appointments if we have your mobile number.

If you wish to pre-register click on the link below to open the form. When you have completed all of the details, click on the "Submit" button to mail your form to us. Please be aware that you will still need to visit the surgery to sign a form to confirm your details are correct plus you will be required to show two forms of identification one with your present address and one with a photograph or yourself before you can be accepted and able to make an appointment to see the nurse or doctor.

When you register you will also be asked to fill out a medical questionnaire. This is because it can take a considerable time for us to receive your medical records. There is an online version of this file too, which you may fill out and send to us. When you come to the surgery you will be asked to sign this form to confirm that the details are correct.
