Sexual Health
Services provided at the Practice
Our Nursing team are able to provide the following sexual health services:
- General contraceptive advice
- Cervical screening (smears)
- Chlamydia and gonorrhoea testing
- Contraceptive injection
- Contraceptive pill checks
- Coil checks & removals (we cannot fit or replace)
Services provided at the Virgin Care Sexual Health Hub
The Sexual Health Hub is located on the ground floor of the Fountains Health building, and provides the following sexual health services:
- Sexual health counselling and advice
- Contraception - all types
- Coil and implant fitting and removal
- Emergency contraception (morning after pill)
- STI screening, including HIV
- Pregnancy testing
- Referrals for termination of pregnancy
- Cervical screening (smears)
