Our Clinical Pharmacist Dr Malhi ensures that patients are taking the most appropriate and suitable medication for their treatment through remote record reviews and telephone consultations with patients.

Community Midwives

The midwives provide antenatal and postnatal care to all our pregnant patients. They are based at the Countess of Chester Hospital. Expectant mums can self-refer by calling the booking hotline on 01244 363487.

Community Nurses

The Community Care team assess and provide nursing care and promote health education to patients in the community who are unable to attend the surgery. This includes District Nurses, Community Matrons and Wellbeing Co-ordinators.

Health Visitors

Health visitors are registered nurses with added qualifications in health promotion and education, and in child health. The contact number is 01244 397486.


The team includes psychiatric nurses, counsellors, health visitor, occupational therapist, psychologists and support workers. The team work closely with the doctors and have links with hospital based services. To access the team you will need to discuss a referral with your Doctor.

Macmillan Nurses

Macmillan nurses provide support and information for patients and their families/carers affected by cancer; from the time of diagnosis, during treatment and at any stage during their illness. The Macmillan nurses are available Monday to Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm and can be contacted on 01244 851170.
